Women on Mission

We welcome women of all ages of Linden Heights Baptist Church to join us as we gather:

• to fellowship, worship and pray for missionaries 
• to inspire each other to hold fast to Christ's command in scripture to live a missional lifestyle
• to learn what's happening nationally within WMU and statewide within WMU of Virginia.

We will provide education, resources, discipling and mission opportunities for the women of LHBC through which they will discover their spiritual gifts and connect these gifts with their personal passions.

Our goal is to equip and inspire the entire church to be on a mission with God!

Mission discipleship encourages people to grow in faith:

• Learn about missions
• Pray for missions
• Support missions
• Do missions

Meetings are the 4th Tuesday of each month from 11 a.m. - 12 noon (with lunch to follow).  We meet in the Church Social Hall and welcome all women of LHBC to join us.

Current Projects:

• Church-wide participation in Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Shoebox collection
• OCC Shoebox packing party for our primary Sunday School Classes

We actively encourage participation in the Prayer Shawl ministry.  Contact a WMU member for additional information.
